 Adam Hadley, PE

Adam Hadley founded Hadley Energy Engineering LLC in 2008 to provide straight forward technical support to the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Hawaii (PE-13105).

Background

Prior to Hadley Energy Engineering LLC, Adam spent over six years working for the Bonneville Power Administration as a mechanical engineer in the Energy Efficiency department.  His focus was in the residential sector where he developed program and technical specifications, developed and managed HVAC research projects, performed training, and worked with local and regional entities to improve efficiency in residences.  He also spent time working in the commercial sector on research projects and specification writing and in the industrial sector reviewing, writing, and executing measurement and verification plans.

Prior to BPA, Adam was an intern at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where he assisted in data analysis for a water and energy efficiency demonstration project and provided research on compact fluorescent lamps.

Adam is a cum laude graduate of the School of Engineering at the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  For his senior project, he teamed with two other engineering students to design a "Combined Human and Electric Powered Vehicle".
